Hattie Brassell

Hattie Brassell, 75, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014. She was born February 22, 1939 to John and Annie Thomas-Dean in Sardis, Mississippi.

She is survived by her loving children, Juanita Rumley, Robert (Deb) Dean, Loretta Brassell, and Terry (Wala) Brassell; 13 loving grandchildren; 15 loving great-grandchildren; and loving siblings, Stella Jones, James Dean, Georgia Green, and Ruby White.

The family will greet friends starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Mount Hebron Missionary Baptist Church, 1338 9th Street in Des Moines with funeral services to begin at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
