Josiah Sampson

Josiah was born May 3, 2014, in Des Moines, the son of Samariah Sampson. A strong little boy, he held on for two days before he passed away May 5, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center.

God must have had a special plan for our little man. We weren’t ready to say goodbye, but our precious little angel is now living his life in heaven and watching over us from above. Josiah was loved by so many, and was taken from us too soon.

Josiah is survived by his mommy, Samariah; grandma, Shantrell Smith; and uncle, Alexander Sampson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines with visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.
