DB, 40, died Thursday, May 1, 2014. He was born May 25, 1973 to George W. Jr. and Rhoda D. Antrim in Kent, Washington.

DB grew up on the West Coast and in St. Louis, Missouri. His family later moved to Peachtree City, GA where he graduated from McIntosh High School. He earned his AA from Clayton State University in Georgia and began his first ministry as Youth Coordinator at Friendship Bible Church. He went on to earn his BA from Moody Bible Institute. Following graduation DB became Youth Pastor at Meadows Baptist in Rolling Meadows, Illinois for over 12 years. He then moved on to Westchester Evangelical in Des Moines where he served as a Youth Pastor. At his passing, he was serving as Family Pastor at Westwind Church in Waukee, Iowa. DB enjoyed woodworking, golf, stained glass, and God’s creation in the great outdoors.

DB is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Allison Sherwood Antrim; sons, William and Graham Antrim; parents, George W. Jr. and Rhoda D. Antrim; parents-in-law, Ed and Jackie Sherwood; sisters, Shelly (Mike) Miller and Angie (Dan) Whitmer; sister-in-law, Suzanne (Troy) Powell; brother-in-law, Edward (Heather) Sherwood. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.

DB was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, George W. and Florence I. Antrim Sr.; maternal grandparents, Norman and Sarah Moore. He was also preceded in death by his dear friend Timothy Lee Yetter.

Monday, May 5, 2014, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. friends may visit with family at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Lutheran Church of Hope, 925 Jordan Creek Pkwy, West Des Moines.
