Donna L. Hanlin

Donna L. Hanlin was born July 23, 1949 in Norwoodville, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Goldie Soloman. She passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed immediately by funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.

Donna is survived by her son, Ricky Benton; son, Jerry (Missy) Davis; daughter, Tracy Benton; grandchildren: Cody, Amber, Trent, Melissa, Travis, Michael, and Ryan; great-grandchildren: Brylee, Nolan, Jaxon, Hope, and Joshua; brother, Wes Soloman; sister, Georgia Soloman; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Harold, Jr. and Joe.
