Service Details
Edmund Joseph Myers died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines.
Ed was born December 2, 1952 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines to Ardys and Bob Myers. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Camp Howze, Korea and Ft. Knox, KY. Ed married Marie Hildreth in February 1973 and they were married for 41 years. He worked for Sensormatic Electronics for 29 years before retiring in 2013.
Ed is survived by his wife, Marie; children, Joe (Heather) and Monica (Scott) Reisinger; three grandchildren; his mother; and siblings, Bob Myers, Carole Smith, and Jacque (Bob) Knight. Preceding him in death was his father.

Marie and family, we are so sorry for your loss. It was a pleasure working with Ed for so many years and I always enjoyed spending time at your home when I was in town for work. Ed was a great friend and will be missed by many. Our prayers and condolences to you.
