Dear Reynolds Family,
My sincerest condolences. I wish to thank Betty and all of you for some of the best times of my youth-riding horses and going to horse shows with Sally & Patsy and the rest. Also, I bought my beloved Paint mare, Comanche from the Reynolds. You are a great family and Betty (and her smile) will be greatly missed.

I have the fondest memories spent on the Reynold's farm as a child. Family as big as it gets with horses and ponies. Riding miles to and from the show. Betty was always a super person and she greatly enriched my childhood. It is hard to believe she is gone, since I just saw her looking as put together as ever just a few months ago.
Sympathies to the family.

I was so sad to hear that Betty passed away last week. I meet Betty through her grandaughter, Dawn many years ago. From the very first time I meet Betty, she had a way of making a person feel like you were the only person in the room when she was talking and listening to you, eventhough, it was never quite in the room! :) At the Reynold's house, there were always people around, kids running in and out of the house and in the background you could hear Larry calling for her (I still can hear Larry's voice calling for Betty) but she never losted her attention because she loved to hear about your life and she truely was interested. I often hear people say to the family members during this time, "he or she are in a better place." This may be true with some people but in Bettys case, she had a great place on earth and she loved life and lived it to the fullish. I know all of you, know this about Betty but just in case, someone accidently clicks on the wrong person at this funneral site, they will have a clear sense of who Betty Reynolds was in this world! :) I think, this is why it has been hard for me this week to accept Betty passing away, because she had such a spirit, so I assumed she would out live all of us, even you Dawn.:) Humor has always been my peace pike and especially at a time like this and I hope all of you are sitting at Dawn and Eric's fire pit and sharing stories about Betty! She will be missed but memories live on forever! Betty, it was an pleasure knowing you!

I had the privilege of knowing sweet Betty through my friendship with her granddaughter Dawn who has inherited her sunny disposition, kindness, hard working ways, and zest for life. We are praying for all of the family, that they will feel God's peace strongly during this time.
