Carroll Wisecup

Carroll Wesley Wisecup of Des Moines passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 14, 2014 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Beverly Wisecup and his sons, Ronnie and Michael.
Carroll worked for Armstrong Tires where he retired after 32 years of service. He also worked at Prairie Meadows and for the City of Clive. He loved garage sales and auctions. Everywhere he went, he made friends.
Carroll is survived by two daughters, Tammy and Tim Jones and Susan and Bud Warner, both of Des Moines. He also leaves 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brother Larry and Diane Wisecup, and sister, Roselynn and Chuck DeBuryn.
He will be greatly missed.
There will be a celebration of Carroll’s life from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.

So sorry in your loss. Carroll was always upbeat and friendly anytime I saw him while he worked for Clive. He was also a great story teller and had a story for anyone who listened. May you find comfort in the days and months ahead.

Carrol was my neighbor and I just spoke to him while he was on a walk wed. morning I can not believe it. He sounded fine.

I knew carrol but first knew his
wife Beverly. I can not believe two
great people have passed.
