Patricia Henderson

Patricia Anna Henderson, 68, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 14, 2014, due to complications from a heart attack.
Patricia was born September 18, 1945, in Des Moines, to Eugene and Melba Shelton. She was a hard worker who loved family and the simple things in life. She owned Patricia’s Beauty Parlor for over 30 years, and worked at Windsor Heights Wal-Mart for 25 years. Patricia enjoyed shopping and going out to eat with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Lorianna Brantley, Sabrina (Nick) Stone, and Joseph Henderson; grandchildren, Mercades, Tyler, Isabella, Maxwell, Samuel, Banksy, and Calvin; and sons-in-law, Ryan Brantley and Robert Reyes.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with funeral at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2014, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

I remember her as always smiling and willing to help. God has another Angel. May the Lord continue to bless her family and all those she touched through the years.

A special message for Sabrina,
Honey we are so sorry, we tried to find you to make sure you were ok. A special memorial is being sent to the American heart assoc. Why is she not being buried in her plot in Churdan??????do NOT believe everything said, we LOVE you so much.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I remember going to the beauty shop with my mom when I was younger. Then later we got back in touch at Wal Mart when I started there. She always was smiling.
