Dearest Family, I can not tell you how this sad news as affected me,Mary was such an Angel for my family. My Dad Harry and George would get into trouble , my Mom would want to kill them and dear sweet Mary would calm her down. Telling her they did not mean any harm! My Dad and Mary went to East High together, they had a life long bond. After George and Dad was gone Mary was such a good Friend to my family. She was always there for my Mom,Violet. Oh how they enjoyed Dave's goodies from Pella.Every time I came home to visit, she always managed time for lunch with us.
My daughter and Janice would play together when they were little. As you can tell I have wonderful memories of both George and Mary
I could go on for ever about what a special person Mary k. was and how we loved her, she will long be remembered. I would love to chat with one of you to catch up, the last time I spoke to Mary she was having a hard time remembering.
Please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless

I was sorry to hear of your loss, Stan. I was thinking about you just the other day wondering where you ended up ( I talked to a guy about you years ago...he was telling me what a great carpenter you were!) I remember having my first legal drink at your father's bar and eating my first taco (ever) at his place at the Iowa State Fair.
My thoughts go out to you and your family during this trying time.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. She was such a wonderful woman. My mom and dad both thought a lot of both her and your dad. And mom loved working for her during the fair as did I. She will most certainly be missed. Again sorry for your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you. Kay
