You truly could not ask for a better coworker or friend. Dexter was kind, honest, hilarious and genuinely interested in anything you had to talk about. I dont think he had any idea how lives he touched, how many bad days he turned around with a smile and fist bump, or how badly he will be missed. He was a special kind of person and can never be replaced.

The first day I met Dexter, I knew this was someone I wanted to know. His smile and laughter lit up the room, and you just felt his positive energy rub off onto those around him. Not only did I have the pleasure of working with Dexter, but I was also honored to call him my friend. I miss him already. My deepest sympathy to your family during this time of loss. I will keep you in my prayers.

Dex always put a smile on peoples faces. He went out of his way to involve even the quitest of people. In many ways he was the spirit of joy to those around him. May he rest in peace and may your family find peace in knowing who much he was cherished.

Dexter will always have a place in my heart as a great friend. Dexter is truly one of the most outstanding people I have had the pleasure of knowing. I had the opportunity to get to know Dexter at work and he was always welcoming, had a bright outlook on everything, cared about everyone. Dexter gave me perspective on aspects in life I struggle with personally and those words of wisdom will be dear to my heart always. My heart and prayers go out to the family.

I met Dexter when I started working for Wells Fargo in 2009. Dexter was one of the first people to reach out to me and welcome me. I soon realized that is just who Dexter was. He took pride in walking around the whole department greeting everyone, whether he previously knew you or was just meeting you for the first time. Even when he left our department, he would still go out of his way to stop by and visit with everyone almost every day. My condolences go out to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Dexter. You will be missed and I can't wait to hear your booming laugh and get a fist bump from you when I enter heavens gates!!
