I am so sorry to hear about Melanie. We spent so much time together when our kids were young, and Mel and I played pool together for years. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family, especially Eric and Nikki, your mother was a wonderful, caring person.

So sad to hear about Melanie. have not been in contact much over the years since highschool. Melanie and I were close when we were younger. We use to play together at her Grandpa's house down the road from us. we use to play dolls up in the attic room where there was lot' s of material to make doll dresses from. We had so much fun. We also enjoyed many fun fishing trips with Grandpa Nouis. Our family still owns the land where the house was that Grandpa Nouis lived in. Those were special years. Us Metzger 's still have the Metzger farm and do spend some time out there. I still go and pick liacs up where the Nouis house use to be. Our parents passed away in 2010. your family has my sympathy. might be able to make it to the funeral. I have to see because I'am in Albany in the morning. Milissa preiss St. Cloud, Mn.
