Service Details
Norma Louise Young, 79, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014. She was born September 20, 1934, to Raymond and Iris Muffler in Iowa City, Iowa.
She is survived by her sons, Ivan H. (Debra) Young III and Wendell (Marsha) Young; daughters, Marilyn Rowe and Carolyn Young; sister, Margurite Davenport; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan H. Young, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Oakdale Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Norma.

I am so sorry for the loss of Great Grandma. I wish there was something I could say to make your hearts hurt just a little less. Please rest knowing that now she gets to be with Great Grandpa.

Many many memories growing up knowing Norma and her family! Best campfire leader a girl could ask for ! A lot of fun times at sleepovers with all the girls.... Scary times running down the lane at dusk to head home after our meetings but always made it back to Cleveland safely! Lol My thoughts are with you all! Love, Margaret (Olson) Meyer
