My Dearest Daddy,
My heart aches knowing how much you wanted to keep living. Your pretty blue eyes are forever in my memory. I still feel your strong shoulders as I tried to help you feel better. Every minute spent behind your chair or down in the basement keeping you company as you tinkered on a lawn mower will be hours treasured. I bought you a card but was always waiting for the perfect words. The card said it all and I wish I had given it to you. It said simply "I am my fathers daughter". To me it meant I was proud of that and loved you completely. I told you I would see you when you wake up. You said "I hope so". I find comfort in keeping that promise when Jehovah opens the memorial tombs and you are resurrected to a paradise earth. You and I had conversation of the bibles promise and you liked it. Can't wait for you to see the promises in the bible are true. Until then daddy I love you and we will talk soon. Your Big Bear.
