Keith G. "Jerry" Pearson

Keith Gerald “Jerry” Pearson, 76, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014. He was born August 23, 1937 in Des Moines, Iowa to E. Keith and Eunice (Chapman) Pearson.

Keith is survived by his daughters Jean (Clifford) Jantz and Julie Barrett; grandchildren: Amanda (Dewey) Abbott, Ben (Andrea) Jantz, Erica (Danny) Minarsich, Christopher Barrett, Adam (Yun Kyung) Jantz, and Alyssa (Jeremiah) Reynolds; great-grandchildren: Kayla, Kendra, Karen and Jayden Jantz, Owen Minarsich, Jocelyn and Coralyn Reynolds, and Dewey and Hewie Abbott; brothers: Ron (Ruth), Dave (Jean), Doug (Sherry) and Tim (Sarah); and sisters, Diane (Bob) Van Gundy and Cynthia (Bob) Murray.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Velma.

Services will be held Friday, April 4, 2014 at Eastside Church of the Nazarene, 1451 East 25th Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed immediately by the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
