Maureen Willis

Maureen Willis, 72, was born September 27, 1941, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Francis and Irene Hall. She passed away March 23, 2014, at her home in Urbandale.
Maureen grew up in Davenport where she graduated from Assumption High School in 1959. She moved to Urbandale in 1983 and was a member at Life Church. She retired from Northwestern Bell after 33 years of service.
Maureen enjoyed attending flea markets and auctions, playing Bridge, and baking.
She treasured her family and loved spoiling her grandchildren any opportunity she had.
Maureen is survived by her children, Evelyn (Denny) Fedosa and Jay (Shelly) Willis; stepchildren, Jeff Willis, Brenda Willis, and Shelley Horn; grandchildren, Ashley Willis, Dylan Willis, Allison Willis, Rachel Adams, Lydia Adams, Gavin Fedosa, Jackson Fedosa, Kyra Fedosa, Seth Willis, and Cole Willis; great-grandson, Kayden Palmer; as well as her brother, Pat (Patricia) Hall; and stepbrother, Ron Deardoff. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harry Hall.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2014, at Life Church, 4520 Madison Ave., with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Life Church in loving memory of Maureen.

I can just hear you saying to me now oh ya right you will just miss my money.
Well my friend you were one in a million and Iam glad I had you in my life as a friend and fellow bridge player.

So sorry Willis family for your loss. I met Maureen briefly at Kayden's 1 year birthday, and she seemed a very sweet and gracious lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you all through this trying time.
