Lucille Martin

Lucille F. Martin, 80, died Friday, August 17, 2007 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Vandalia Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Lucille was born August 4, 1927 in Des Moines to William and Bertie (Robinson) Morrison. She was a lifelong resident of Des Moines, most recently residing at Wakonda Manor where she enjoyed luncheons and playing BINGO with her fellow residents. Lucille worked in the Credit Department at Sears for nearly 40 years. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and looked forward to her monthly Chicago Northwestern Railroad retiree dinners.
Lucille is survived by her son, Harry Martin, III of San Diego, CA; daughter, LuCinda Lee Martin of Las Vegas, NV; step-daughter, Linda L. Martin of Cathedral City, CA; brothers, Ronald Morrison of Des Moines and Donald Morrison of Vero Beach, FL; and grandchildren, Derek Jean Martin of Colorado Springs, CO, Jessica Ann Martin-Dunleavy of San Diego, CA and Dillon Alexander Dunleavy of San Diego, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harry Martin, Jr.
