Noel E. Casebolt, Sr.

Noel Edward Casebolt, Sr. 75, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014. He was born May 7, 1938, to Kenneth and Margaret Casebolt in Des Moines, Iowa.
Noel was in the Sheet Metal Union Local 45. He attended Indianola Heights Evangelical Free Church. Noel enjoyed fishing, camping and working on cars but most of all loved spending time with his family, grandkids, and his dog Lily.
He is survived by his companion and special friend together for 18 years, Vanessa Timmerman; son, Noel (Leslie) Casebolt; daughters, Tina (Larry) Lloyd and Julie (Randy) Cook; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary (Loy) Koehler.
Noel was preceded in death by his wife, Berniece; parents; and three infant siblings.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines. Visitation will be from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m., with funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association in loving memory of Noel.
