Stanley Jordan

Stanley Gilbert Jordan, 75, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Urbandale Health Center.

Stanley was born July 16, 1938 in Albia, Iowa, the son of Earl and Eva (Warren) Jordan. He enjoyed fishing, gambling and county music. He was employed as a truck driver for XPEDX.

Stanley is survived by his children, Tyrone (Prissy) Jordan, Tim (Diane) Jordan, Lori Jordan, and Angie (Vance) Bell; grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Ashley, Ryan, Tre; great-grandchildren, Lei’asia, Zy’rie, Aleiah, Sean Jr., and Russhaude; siblings and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn; and companion, Virginia.

There will be a memorial visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
