Dorothy Davis

Dorothy Marie (Kobi) Davis was born on September 29, 1927 in Ankeny, Iowa to Lester and Ruby (Kirtley) Kobi. Dorothy worked as a nurse’s aide for Mercy Hospital many years. She adored her animals; they were part of the family. She was a wonderful cook, her specialty being chicken. Dorothy was talented at crocheting and enjoyed working in her garden. Her family and her grandchildren held the most important place in her heart. Dorothy passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the age of 86.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Frank Eischeid, Tammy Johnson, Annette Halda, and Bill Davis; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six great-granddogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Davis; and daughters, April Celander and Diana Baily.

There will be no services at this time.
