Anthony “Tony” Valenti, 50, passed away at his home Friday, March 7, 2014. He was born May 13, 1963 in Des Moines to Angelo and Velva (Slone) Valenti.
Tony graduated from Lincoln High School in 1981. He enjoyed building Harleys and race cars.
Tony is survived by his sons, Justin and Brandon Valenti; granddaughter, Lilly; and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Brandon Valenti in loving memory of Tony.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Club 2000, 422 Indianola Road.

Wow, roughly 6 months after Kimbra. I just found out tonight.
I know things were very sour, but I just cant help but think of them like Johnny and June. May both their souls rest in peace. Boys I am so very sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in GODS love amen

it seems the days drag and the years fly ive had so many freinds and family die recently just gone some people say things happen for a reason that makes them feel comforted i have come to the coclusion things just happen lifes a big pinball game with no buttons for the flippers you really should live everyday like its your last and take time to enjoy your freinds i cant figure out if we have a forgiving god or a vengefull one

Tony I rember you playing the base in dean wells basement in ur guys band.my heart goes out to you and ur children and grand daughter I know there hearts are heavey during this time of there lifes .now god has giving you a hole new body to live in heaven with all of his angles may you Rest In Peace Friend

Rest in Peace Tony! I will never forget you and all the great times we had together. I don't know if I ever got to thank you for saving my life. So thank you. You saved my life in more ways than one. Brother you were always there for me whenever it was needed. I'll never forget working with you, and I learned so much from you. your heart and generosity were unmatched by anyone I have ever met.We had some crazy times, and those will be forever in my memory, as will you. I am so saddened by the news of Tony. We grew up together, both attending Howe, Weeks and Lincoln. In fact, our two brothers, Mike and Dale, took us out to a movie together when we were about 8 years old. He will be greatly missed. My heart and thoughts are with his family. My Condolences. Jana
