Wanda Lea Sly passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

Wanda was born October 12, 1942 in Cresco, Iowa to Eva and Carl Melver. She is survived by her daughters, Aunita Tyler (Tim), Tamara Lawson, and Melissa Lawson; father of her children, Bill Lawson; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Molly; and numerous other extended family members.

There will be a celebration of Wanda’s life on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
