John Penman

John L. Penman, 61, passed away at his home Saturday, February 22, 2014.

John was born February 4, 1953 in Runnells to Harry and Helen (Philby) Penman. He had worked for Quebecor World and was a member of Local 518M. He enjoyed riding his Harley and building model cars. John still wore and loved his bellbottom jeans.

John is survived by his children, John “JJ” Penman and Melissa Penman; parents, Harry and Helen Penman; brothers, Steve (Cindy) Penman, Kelly (Kathy) Penman and Kevin (Nancy) Penman; and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by brother, Robert Penman.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Burial will be held at a later date.
