John K. "Jack" Leavell

John K. (Jack) Leavell was born in Belle Plaine, Iowa in 1933. He attended Belle Plaine schools and graduated from Iowa State University. For many years, he provided professional accounting and tax services to physicians and dentists in central Iowa.

In 1956, John married Kathryn McHugh. Together they raised four children.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn; son John of Seattle, WA; son Jim and his wife Gwen of Dexter, IA; daughter Mary Rickard and her husband Graham of Piedmont, CA; and son Rob and his wife Marlene of Fuquay-Varina, NC, as well as four grandchildren.
