Robert Bowman Jr.

Robert J. Bowman, 58, of Des Moines Iowa, passed away peacefully in his home Novemeber18, 2006. Robert was born December 17, 1947, in Des Moines Iowa.
Funeral services for Robert will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 21, 2006. A memorial visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Monday, November 20, 2006 both to be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home 605 E. Lyon St, Des Moines IA
Robert enjoyed NASCAR racing, was a devote Iowa Hawkeye fan and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Robert worked for the post office for 27 years, and retired as a mail handler. Robert was also a member of the American Legion.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl, his daughter, Margaret Cameron, two sisters, Sharon Howe and Juanita Reinier, two brothers, Donald Wright and Gregory Wright Sr., his five wonderful grandchildren, Whitney, Jami, Skylar, Michlynn and Robert IV.
Robert was preceded in death by his son, Robert III and his brother, David Lee Bowman Sr. and his parents.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Brain Tumor Association in memory of Robert.
