Clara A. (Kurschinski) Clark was born July 6, 1925 in Des Moines, Iowa to Carl and Rebecca (Wood) Kurschinski. She was a life-long resident of the Des Moines area.
Clara passed away at age 88 at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 17, 2014.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Clark; grandchildren: Danny (Tammy) Clark, Tammy Peterson, Rusty (Tana) Clark, and Richard (Dee) Clark; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leon A. Clark, two sons, her brother and sister.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, also at the funeral home, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Clara’s name. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

How well I remember the many times the Clark family would come to the valley to visit the Williamson family. Happy memories! My condolences to all of you. Now she is at rest w/her beloved husband and boys.
