Lucille Teressa (Camp) Sjobakken passed to her eternal home on February 17, 2014 at Bickford of West Des Moines, Iowa where she had been a resident for the past five years. Lucille was born January 16, 1926 in Lennox, SD to Martin and Louise (Heibult) Camp. She attended elementary schools in Lennox, SD and rural school in the Parker, SD vicinity. Following eighth grade graduation, she remained on the farm to help her parents until she found work in Sioux Falls, SD in Sioux Valley Hospital. Later, she worked in a bank and then Montgomery Ward. While there, she met John Sjobakken and they were married on September 5, 1964. They moved to St. Paul, MN and Lucille transferred to the Montgomery Ward store there and worked until her retirement in 1987. Following retirement, they continued to live in St. Paul, MN. They enjoyed attending bible classes at their church, volunteered for Meals on Wheels, traveling and fishing.

Lucille was a member of Germantown Presbyterian Church of rural Chancellor, SD and was active until ill health necessitated her to move to Iowa to live near her niece.

She is survived by one brother, Marvin (Carolyn) Camp of Ft. Morgan, CO; one niece, Janet Camp (Mike) Olsen of West Des Moines, IA; a nephew, Paul (Julie) Camp of Parchment, MI; 2 grand nieces; 1 grand nephew; and 5 cousins. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; one brother; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.

A private service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
