Jeana Faye (Cameron) Hansen passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, MO at the age of 79.
She was born October 16, 1934 in Niobrara, NE to Paul and Selma (Block) Cameron and retired from US West after many years.

Jeana was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael; daughter, Brenda; and brother, Tom. She is survived by her husband, Verne; son, Wayne (Anna); grandchildren, Shayne, Casey, Cory, and Rhiannon; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Janis.

Services will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Public visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014 with family present from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 17 with burial following at 3:00 p.m. Monday at Elk Cemetery in Alta, IA.
