Loyd Spencer

Loyd Spencer, 61, was born August 8, 1946 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Harry and Beatrice (Peggs) Spencer, and passed away Friday, August 10, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St., with burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Loyd is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Linda; his daughter, Laura (Dennis) Gregory and their son, Niall Spencer, and his daughter Lisabeth (Dexter) Hall and their daughter, Mira Hall, all of Des Moines; brothers, Judge Leo (Mona) Oxberger and Jerry (Nora) Oxberger; sisters, Helen Gray and Alice (Joseph) Wolvek and many nieces and nephews.
