Kenneth Raymond Nielsen

Kenneth (Kenny) Raymond Nielsen of Adel, IA found eternal peace on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the age of 61. His wife of 32 years was by his side. He was recently employed by Dahl's but his true passion was working with his father, brothers Paul, Fred, Pete, Tim and sister, Julie (Tantillo) at Nielsen's Greenhouse and Flower Shop. Kenny enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a great love of animals and enjoyed fishing and tinkering in his workshop. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; and is survived by his mother, Therese; wife, Janette; son, Ken; and daughters, Jessica (Bryan) Keyt, and Erin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in West Des Moines with the visitation prior from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.
