Gregory “Tow Joe” Wright, Sr.

Gregory “Tow Joe” Wright Sr., 57, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Greg was born October 14, 1956. He had a huge heart and loved his children and his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and long Sunday road-trips.

He is survived by his children: Heather (Jerry) Hupp, Gregory Jr. (Kelli) Wright, Christopher “Punkin” Wright, and Matthew Wright; wife and best friend, Sheryl; grandchildren: Austin, Jennifer, Xavier, Tristan, Trinity “Pickle”, Curtis, Caden, Cameron, Cyliss, Abby, and Damius; siblings, Sharon (Gene) Howe, Donnie (Linda) Wright, and Juanita Reinier; and many loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Eugene; brothers, Bobby and David; grandson, Kyle Lee Wright; and best friend, Ernie Lilly.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 6, 2014, with funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
