Jeffery Warner

Jeffery Warner, 59, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

Jeff was born October 28, 1954 to Delores and Earl Warner in Clarinda, Iowa. He was a man of great character. His life centered around his family; he was a very dedicated father and was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He was in attendance at all his kids sporting events and coached football and baseball. He was a motivator and second father figure to the kids he knew, coached, and loved. He left an indelible mark on everyone’s lives he encountered.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 18 years, Joni; children: Elizabeth Uhing, Amy Thornton, Susan Woodrich, Franc Warner, Faith Thornton, Chris Warner, Cameron Warner, and Connor Warner; ten grandchildren; sister, Rebecca Warner, sister-in-law, Ann Warner; brother, Randy Warner; uncle, Perry Whittmore; aunt, Patricia Stanton; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Delores Warner; brother, Earl Robert II; and nephew, Richard Warner.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Jasper County Fairgrounds 4-H Building, Colfax followed by burial at Mitchellville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 30, also at the church.
