Marvin Birt, 74, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014. He was born February 18, 1939 to Reginald and Kay Birt in Sac City, Iowa.
Marvin worked at Herberger Construction along side his son. He enjoyed watching western movies, camping, and especially being a great dad and grandpa.
He is survived by his son, Terry (Leann) Birt; grandchildren, Michael (Kelly) Birt, and Lisa (Robert Pence) Birt; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Garrett, and Levi; step-great grandchildren, Carissa, Robby, and Memphis; brothers, Verne, Larry, Rex, Wendell, and Lester; sisters, Audrey, and Connie.
Marvin was preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna Mae.

Terry and family I am very sorry to hear that marv had passed. He was a great guy and I liked him very much. He will be missed by all of us who worked with him

Grandpa I know your not in pain. I am sure you and grandma are having fun. Its not easy your gone. But I am glad that you are pain free. May you get the biggest fish and enjoy camping and all the other stuff you do. We love you and grandma.
