Andrew "AJ" Williams

AJ Williams was born October 4, 1990 in Port Angeles, Washington to Kathleen and James Williams. He was an open minded, creative person who enjoyed art, painting, and writing. AJ liked skateboarding and took comfort in the teachings of the Asatru religion.

AJ died suddenly Sunday, January 19, 2014 at his home at the age of 23.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2014 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines.

AJ is survived by his parents: James and Kathie Williams; brothers: David and John Williams; half-sister: Kirsten Williams and husband, CJ; grandmother: Ella Williams; aunt: Rosemary Sweet; uncles: Gary Williams and wife, Mary, Brian Williams and wife, Kathy, and John Henderson and wife, Joan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his uncles: Charles Williams and Doc Henderson; paternal grandfather: Juel Williams; and maternal grandparents: Milton and Ruth Henderson.
