Randy Lossner

Randall C. Lossner, of Des Moines, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at HCI Care Services on 56th, with his loving family by his side.

Randy was born on April 18, 1958 to Barbara (Ross) and Robert Lossner in Des Moines. Randy proudly worked, as a pressman, at the family owned Litho-Graphics. He possessed a strong work ethic. Randy was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan, a collector of “many” things and loved music. He absolutely adored his grandsons, whom he called his “old fashioned boys”, and they called him “pop pop”. Randy knew how to enjoy life and he will be greatly missed.

Randy leaves behind his loving wife of 37 years, Rosanne; children, Joshua (Angie) Lossner, Laura (Sean) Allison, Ross Lossner, and Beth (Cody) Marcum; grandsons, Gabriel and Lucas Marcum; mother, Barbara; brothers, Rob and Rod (Sharon); sisters, Vandi and Tammy (Bryce) Gilster; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert and grandparents, Fred and Blanch Ross.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Norwalk United Methodist Church. Family will greet friends an hour prior to the service at the church.
