Jeffrey Brown

Jeffrey Brown, 66, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Leon Cemetery in Leon, Iowa.
Jeffrey was born September 3, 1940 in Leon, Iowa to Neal “Buck” and Lois (Moore) Brown. He lived in the Des Moines area until the 1980’s when he moved to Arizona. Jeffrey resided in Arizona until his retirement from the U.S. Post Office in 2001, when he returned to Des Moines. He was a history buff and enjoyed sharing his passion with his family. Genealogy was another hobby Jeffery enjoyed.
Jeffrey is survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joan Hightshoe.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
