James Lee Hackbarth

Jim Hackbarth, 51, passed away unexpectedly at his home from cardiac arrest Wednesday, January 15, 2014.

Jim was born November 16, 1962 in Clarion, Iowa. He was an avid Harley rider and enjoyed “Friday Garage Nights” with his buddies. Jim loved his daughters and grandbabies and enjoyed spending time with them and showing off their pictures.

Jim is survived by his daughters, Katie, Emily and Angela Hackbarth; grandbabies, Lyla Lea and Aiden James; mother, Janet Hackbarth; father, Verne Hackbarth; siblings, June (Michael) Fultz and Jeff Hackbarth; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, Bert, Angie, Amy, Jennifer, Ronnie, Emma, Mikey, Lennon, Haylee, Jazmine, Afton, Sara, Cheslea, Stori, Ricci, Ashley, Faylan, Meredith, Christine, Zach and Jeffery; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will greet friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. As a tribute to Jim, come ready to ride as we will leave the funeral home at 3 p.m. for a final ride in memory of Jim.
