Margaret Christine Sievers

Margaret Sievers, 89, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

Margaret was born October 2, 1924 in Knoxville, Iowa to Gay and Della (Caulkins) Zimmerman. She was a past president of the Polk County Legal Secretaries and a lifetime member of the Antique Airplane Association.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Georgia (Jeffrey) Patterson and Cherie (Larry) Woodworth, three grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl H. Sievers and all of her siblings.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Des Moines.
