Mark Anthony Glenn, 46, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014. He was born August 11, 1967 to John and Jackie (Gilbert) Glenn in Des Moines, Iowa.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, football and MMA Wrestling. Mark was a master computer operator and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Mark is survived by his loving mother, Jackie Gilbert; and sister, Lisa Glenn.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines with Memorial Service to follow at 11 a.m.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Mark.

So sorry about the loss of Mark.
I worked with Mark at ADP and he is greatly missed.
I will always remember his big, warm smile, and his willingness to always help. I'm so blessed to have been able to know him.

I didn't know Mark for very long but for the short time I had with him he was a Great Source of assistance whenever approached for help. He was Always willing to help with a smile on his face! I admired his ability to smile at each and every person he came in contact with. Mark had the perfect attitude towards work ethic and will be remembered for his eagerness to continually learn and teach others what he knew without hesitation. Mark and his Smile will be truely missed. God Bless !!

You will be greatly missed. I always enjoyed joking around with you at Sears. I miss the Jason's Deli Saturday orders with me running around trying to find you to place your order.

Mark was a wonderful person who always had a smile and kind word. He was a joy to work with at sears and I remember him and the laughter we shared working the closing shift in our department at sears fondly. Jackie words can't express how sorry I am for the loss of your son. My continued thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this heart breaking time.

Mark will be missed for a long time to come. The smile, the quick wit but most of all his caring spirit.He always had something good to say even if he was on the phone. Mark I loved you like a son. One that needed a beating on a daily basis. Thank you for being sunshine in a dark night.

I was just getting to know Mark as my new Supervisor. I already feldt like he was a friend. My last conversation with him was asking him if he was related to the Glens I grew up with? He said No, he was from the southside bottoms. Mark is already missed and I can tell he was well liked by his coworkers. Prayers for his family.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark at two jobs! Mark was willing to help anyone and to take on more and more challenges. I will miss seeing his smile every time we ran into each other. Mark will be missed by many of us.

Mark always had a warm smile on his face and the ability to make people feel good wherever he went. I am going to miss him dearly.
