Jordan B. O'Neal

Jordan O’Neal, 6, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family Saturday, January 11, 2014.

Jordan was born July 15, 2007 in Des Moines. He liked having his head rubbed and listening to music. Jordan loved his brothers and sister and his brothers loved caring for him. He enjoyed going to his big brother Nathan’s baseball games and Nathan loved having him there.

He is survived by his adoring parents, Gerhard and Michelle Lourens; siblings, Nathan, Matthys and Blakelee; grandparents, Cecil and Deb O’Neal and Thys and Francoisenette Lourens; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, other extended family and friends.

The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Bloomfield United Methodist Church, 5930 Indianola Avenue. Funeral services will be held on Jordan’s half birthday, Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the church.
