June H. Haug

June H. Haug, 86, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2014 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Iowa. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillsborough Presbyterian Church, Route 206, Hillsborough, New Jersey where June was a resident for 54 years.

June was born on July 4, 1927 in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of Evelyn Gray and Thomas Peter Henderson. She was married to Charles A. Haug, her husband of 46 years, and enjoyed being a homemaker, taking great pride in her family, and maintaining her home. June also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and traveling with Charles to Myrtle Beach. She was active in her husband’s 4-H club, a charter member of Hillsborough Presbyterian Church, a former Sunday school teacher, and Cub Scout den mother.

June was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her children, Roger (Lora) Haug of Pella, IA, Barbara Jean (Thomas) Good of Clive, IA, and Charles (Cindy) Haug, Jr. of Flemington, NJ; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
