Stephen E. Pullman, 61, formally of Spokane, WA, passed away peacefully December 30, 2013 at home surrounded by his family.
Stephen was born November 25, 1952 in Havre, Montana to George and Beverly (Fawuer) Pullman. He proudly served in the United States Army and was employed by Thrasher Hardware as a salesman. One of Stephen’s greatest joys was fishing with his granddaughter, Kenadee. He and his wife, Kathryn loved driving on the back roads watching for wildlife. Coming from Washington state where he saw mostly pine trees, he appreciated the diversity in the trees and the countryside. He looked forward each year to the return of the eagles. Stephen had a legendary HotWheels car collection numbering over 500!
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; daughter, Renee; sons, Matthew (Dana) and Robert; four grandchildren, Kenadee, Joseph, Joshua, and Chance; parents, George and Beverly; brother, Terry; nieces and nephews, Jodi, Jon, Zach, Megan, Emily, and Adrian; and his dog, Madee.
He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Carla Pullman.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will occur at 12:30 p.m. on Monday at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter, Iowa.

Well Stephen I don't know if you know this or not, but Mike Graney passed away on the 21st of February 2018 and my mom passed away on the 23rd of February 2018. It has been a very rough few weeks on me and it makes me miss you even more. I miss the support that I know you would be giving me and the way that you would comfort me. Mom was ready to go and had told me earlier that week that she wanted me to know how much she appreciated every thing that I had done for her. She said she didn't know what she would have done without me. I had to let her go. She was in so much pain, and now she is free of all of that. I love and miss you.

Hi poppy I miss you so much :'( and I can't wait to see you. Did you like the hug I gave you? We all miss you I can still see you smile now and then. I miss you when grandma brings Madee down and I think it is you but then grandma comes out of the door and then I get disappointed and somtimes I see you in the sky but than I realize that it is just the cloud's. Do you like it in Heaven with grandpa Anderson and can you tell him I said hi and I love and miss him so much :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( PS.Did you like my poem. To the Pullman Family,
I would like to express my deepest sympathy. No doubt the loss of such a dear loved one will be felt by many. May you take comfort in the fact that sickness and death will soon be things of the past. The Bible promises that Jehovah God "...will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore..." (Revelation 21:4)
