Jacob Michael Valenzuela

Jacob Michael Valenzuela passed into the arms of an angel on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. He was four years old.

Jacob was born on November 16, 2009 in Des Moines to Sarah Kyle and Javier Valenzuela. He attended McKee Preschool and loved going to school to learn and be with his friends. He was a gentleman at the age of four and always had a smile on his face. Jacob was fascinated with all types of cars, from toys to the real thing.

Jacob will be forever missed by his parents, Sarah and Javier; his grandparents, Minerva Molina, Shari (Verle) Vandersluis and Michael Kyle; aunt and uncle and godparents, Carrie and Rusty McCuen; aunt and godmother, Jennifer Valenzuela; uncle, Alex Reyes; and a host of other aunts, uncles and family.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, also at the funeral home. Jacob will be laid to rest at Glendale Cemetery following the funeral.
