Service Details
Jeff Rasmussen, 55, passed away on Saturday December 21, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2013 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines with burial to follow at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jeff was born on June 10, 1958 in Des Moines to Daniel and Darlene (Thompson) Rasmussen. He served in the Air Force for 16 years. During this time, Jeff worked in operations for Desert Shield and Desert Storm. After his time in the service, he was a bus driver for Hawkeye Stages.
Jeff enjoyed the races in Knoxville as well as bowling and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Amber (Will) Stemler, Danai (Bryan Morris) Rasmussen, Daniel (Rebecca) Rasmussen; four grandchildren; parents, Dan and Darlene Rasmussen; brother, Michael (Karen) Rasmussen; and a host of other family and beloved friends.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Jeff's passing. He was a great friend to all who were lucky enough to cross his path. He will be remembered lovingly by many.
