Terry Bell

Terry R. Bell Sr., 76, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.

Terry was born July 5, 1937 in Des Moines to Howard and Arlene Bell. Terry loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He liked being outdoors – fishing, golfing and hunting. Terry worked as a service technician at Smith 66 for many years.

Terry is survived by his children, Nicky Vaughan, Terry R. Bell Jr., LuAnn Bell and Joe Bell; his mother, Arlene Bell; his grandchildren, Roxanne Miller, Kelly Miller, Dustin Miller, Destiny Miller, Devin Curry, Caitlynn Bell, Marayah Bell and Nathan Bell; his great-grandchildren, Kholey Runner and Grant Moore; and his siblings, Jack, Jerry, Diana, Mike, Ted, Paul, Steve and David Bell.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Bell and father, Howard Bell.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines with visitation for two hours prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
