Noah Beaumont

Noah James Beaumont, 12, passed away December 18, 2013 at Unity Point Health Des Moines Methodist.

Noah was born February 10, 2001 in Des Moines. He was a student at Weeks Middle School. Noah enjoyed playing video games, listening to music and spending time with family, friends and his beloved dogs, Isabel and Rosco. He loved football and was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes and Minnesota Vikings fan. Noah was a happy, good natured little boy that was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Noah was a fighter and will be remembered for his strength, courage, bravery and abundant love. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Gary Beaumont Jr. and Andrea Lawless; siblings, Alexandrea “Lexi” and Nicholas; grandparents, Tiffany Grant, Kathy and Harry Shadow, Gary and Mary Beaumont Sr. and Greg and Kristen Lawless; great-grandparents, Jerry “Jake” and Sharon Lawless, Jim and Sylvia Petras and Jim and Shar Hart; aunts and uncles, Kirsten, DeDe, Jenny, Drew, Zak, Jim, Raine and Nick; his nurse, Doris “Doty” Gandy; and many cousins, extended family members and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Mary Hart; great-aunt, Kris Hart; and his uncles, Curt Beaumont and Bud Lawless.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street followed by burial at Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Noah.
