Joan Marie Wilson, 63, passed away at her home on December 4, 2013.
Joan was born May 20, 1950 in Clear Lake, Iowa to John and Laura Proctor. She graduated from Carlisle High School in 1968 and worked as a pharmacy technician at the VA Hospital until her retirement.
Joan is survived by her husband of 44 years, Bill; children, Susan (Mike Stowe) Wilson, Bill (Stephanie) Wilson and John (Leslie) Wilson; grandchildren, Max and Zoey; granddogs, Sophie, Itabell and Daisy May; one brother; two sisters; and mother, Laura Proctor.
She was preceded in death by her father, John.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Joan.
