Bennie Hail, Sr.

Bennie J. Hail, Sr. was born December 24, 1952 and passed away on December 4, 2013.

Bennie graduated in 1972 from Indianola High School. He retired from Koester Construction. Bennie was a handyman. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed watching westerns, old country music, watching his granddaughters play soccer, playing games on his computer, listening to Beverly play her flute and riding his scooter.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie; children Dianna and Bennie Jr. from Des Moines and and Corey (Monse) of Independence, MO; grandchildren, Rabecca and Beverly of Des Moines and Tre’Mikel Good of Lovilla, IA and his siblings, Nadra (Ron) Mitchell of Portage, IN, James (Robin) Hail, Jr. of Osceola, MO and Patricia Ford of Indianola. Bennie was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lenora Hail and his brother, Danny.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street followed by burial at North River Cemetery in Indianola. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
