Karen Leto

Karen Joyce Leto, 77, passed into the arms of her loving Savior, while surrounded by family at her bedside, on November 18, 2013. Karen was born May 26, 1936 in Des Moines, IA to Anderson and Margaret Vaughn.

Karen is survived by children, Toni (Robert) Clark, Andrea Leto, Polly Leto, Clara Leto, and John (Jennifer) Leto; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and beloved friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; and grandson, Chad A. Leto.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Family will greet friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

It is the request of the family that visitors wear casual attire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, Inc. at 320 West Main Street in Lakeland, FL 33815.
