Wayne, 86, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013. He was born May 22, 1927 to Earl and Nettie Cozad in Earlham, Iowa.
He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis; daughters, Joyce (Richard) Porter and Brenda (Jeffrey) Grim; three grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his two grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held, 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at Capitol Hill Christian Church, with burial and military honors at Iowa Veterans Cemetery. Friends may visit with family from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the church.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Wayne.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. No doubt the loss of such a dear loved one will be felt by many. The Bible makes the promise at Isaiah 26:19 that the dead will live and will rise up. What a joy that will be. May this and the many other promises in God's word continue to comfort your family.
