Alondra passed away November 26 at University Amplatz Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.
Alondra was born July 8, 2005, in Des Moines, to Ana Murueta and Fernando Vasquez. She was currently attending school at Willard School. Alondra loved to dress up, she enjoyed fashion and make up. Alondra loved playing with her siblings and her friends at school. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Alondra is survived by her Mommy and Daddy, her siblings, Maria Fernanda Vasquez-Murueta, Aldo Fernando Vasquez-Murueta and Kamila Mickaela Murueta.
Funeral services will be held at 7 pm Thursday, December 5, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will be held 2 pm Friday, at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Alondra’s family in her loving memory.

I met Alondra when I started as a caregiver for Metro Kids at Howe and even tho I only knew her a short time she will forever be in my memory. I am keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart and thoughts go out to the family and friends of this little Willard angel. My son is a student at Willard and he has been telling me about Alondra. He also is wearing a green ribbon on his ball cap for Alondra and a way to remember her. R.I.P. Alondra as you are now an angel in the sky.
